Sixteen Months

No pictures today, guys -- you can see all the new ones for the week in my sidebar. Instead, we're going to do an all-dancing, all-video update.

I've decided that dancing is now one of my favorite pastimes. We listen to a lot of music (at least, when Mom and Dad haven't caved and turned the TV on, which they're trying to be better about), and I'm really enjoying the beats and the tunes. Of course, I can't sing yet, let alone play an instrument (however this video might indicate otherwise), so I express my excitement by dancing. This afternoon, in fact, I actually handed Dad the remote so he would turn on the tunes. (We get a few XM Radio channels on the TV, which is what we mostly listen to.) I like children's music, disco, and ... er ... hip-hop.

I've also been playing with my baby doll a lot lately. You might remember the picture -- when my great-grandma sent me the baby, she was almost as big as I was. Mom and I named her Maggie, and I've taken to carrying her around the house, changing her hats, loading her into my swing outside, giving her rides in my new toy crate on wheels, bringing her in the car, and (of course) dancing with her.

Otherwise, nothing big is going on. The rain from last week was horrible, because I couldn't play outside, and now we think it stirred something up because I've had congestion all this week. But at least I can play and go for walks again. I hope it clears up over the weekend, because my Uncle Mike and Auntie Erin are coming and I don't want to miss out on playtime. But I'll let you know what happens.

I thought the first video was the cutest thing ever, but no, it was the third one.
