Walk It Off

Sorry about the lack of updates, everyone. I've been too busy walking.

Yeah, we've decided it's official -- even though I still prefer to hold someone's hand and cruise around, and I'll crawl when I really want to get somewhere, I am now a biped. It's increasingly likely that I'll step away from the couch to follow the dogs or get something from Dad, rather than dropping to my knees first. I'll even push up on a wall for balance rather than looking for something low and horizontal. (My favorite is the end of a wall, where it's short and squared-off.) Today we went to the park, and I was traversing the gaps between play equipment and benches with no problem (even with shoes on). So yes, this means I'm now one step closer to being that marching band geek that Dad seems hell-bent on grooming me to be.
