Splish Splash

Wow, everyone, it's been a while. But honestly, not that much has changed since my last update. I'm still not walking by myself, I still don't like peas, I'm still having fun in gym class. Basically, I'm the same fun Avery you've come to know and love.

I did get a pool, though. Since it's getting even hotter out there, and I still love playing outside, we have to take advantage of it. We went to the store and got me an inflatable pool with a sunshade, thanks to some of my birthday money. I broke it in by going skinny-dipping. Hey, it's my pool, it's my yard, and I'm not old enough for the neighbors to be scandalized yet. Over the last couple days, I've been playing in and out of the pool, getting more used to it and starting to have more fun. Mom actually got in with me today, but she wouldn't let Dad take pictures because she didn't want him putting her in a bikini on the Internet. (She is old enough to draw catty comments -- which is dumb, because my mom looks better in a bikini than a lot of people.) I'm also getting a sand and water table in a few weeks, whenever it gets delivered. That ought to be fun, and might even distract me from playing in Kucha's water dish.
