I know it's weird and bordering on sophomoric, but every time I happen across a discussion about the mythical first emperor of Japan -- be it a passing reference as part of a larger work, a serious discussion of national heritage, or anything in between -- I can't help but giggle.

It sure would be nice if I could stop mentally referring to him as "Jimmy."
